This is fantastic. I found out about this channel through a post at aintitcool.com. Some folks are now saying that this video and the King Kong video posted on the channel could be promotional material for Super 8, but I don’t think so. They’re pointing to the editing and soundtrack, and that it supposedly doesn’t look like Super-8. I think it’s the real deal. The soundtrack is new and the editing is likely recent as well. The guy who posted this stuff admits that in the video descriptions. Anyway, these vids are awesome—really funny and charming. But, if it is marketing then it’s really well done. (The guy that made the videos as a kid, and updated them and posted them, apparently produces promotional material now, which is kind of interesting…)
